The inner man is supposed to face outwards.

There is a time in our lives when we must look inwardly.

At least once in our lifetime, we need to cleanse ourselves of anything that no longer serves us, such as pain, negativity, or lies, and take that necessary step towards looking outwardly and giving to others.

Once we have cleaned up our ‘stuff’ we can concentrate on doing good, prioritizing love, and focusing on our relationships with others.

This process allows us to intention set for doing good moving forward.

You might be in a place right now where you feel like this isn’t possible, and that is completely normal, but it is impossible to face outward unless you have done the work on the inside.

It doesn’t necessarily come naturally to us, which is why we want to help you get there!

I truly believe that to do the inner work we must go on a journey, an exhaustive search, to find our own truth and beliefs in life.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said:

‘Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That’s why they call it the present.’

The present moment is our gift and everything we do is in the present moment. God gives us the gift of righteousness, in the present- right now.

No matter where we are in time, we can live in the present moment, in love.

To really live our best lives in the present moment, I believe we need to own our beliefs and shed any inherited opinions that aren’t our own.

This week, I want you to imagine that you’re starting out on the big journey of life. To begin on this journey, there are a set of objectives and essentials that you will need in your backpack before you set foot.

Your essentials are the items that you need before your journey can commence. Your objectives are what you will find along the way.

The 5 journey objectives will help you get cleaned up on the inside and help you find your truth. When these are achieved, you can begin to live outwardly.

  1. What is the meaning of life?

What is your belief? Is there a God? If so, what God do you believe in?

  1. What is the purpose of your specific life?

What do you believe is your purpose?

  1. What is a transformational truth?

Is there one? What is it for you?

  1. If there is a transformational truth, is there a greatest deceiving lie?

What is the lie? Lies function like a computer virus. To wipe our hardwiring clear of the virus, we need to discover the truth and remove the lie.

  1. How do I fix the biggest problem in my life?

What is the problem? How can I work on it?

Working these out before we set foot on our journey sets us up for living the best life possible! Then we can set intentions to the outside world.

Now for the journey essentials.

  1. A new heart and spirit– Ezekiel 36- God said ‘I will give you a new heart and spirit.’

Why do we need one? Because we may have been living in negative, unhelpful thoughts and lies. A new heart mirrors God’s own heart and we can be transformed.

  1. The mind of Christ- Through the mind of Christ, we can discern the spiritual and understand the truth in our lives.

Through this, we can be transformed.

From anger to patience.

From anxiety to peace.

From rejection and hate to love and acceptance.

  1. The righteousness of God.

This is given from God regardless of whether we have earned it. It is about whether we love God and what we believe.

It is our job to seek these essentials and answer these objectives to find who we truly are.

I have spoken previously about how the love of Christ compels us. What compels you?

Is it money? Fame? Status? Love?

This is all part of your search.

So, want I want to ask you is:

Do you have the essentials to go on the journey?

Are you working to own your own life and beliefs?

If you are already on your journey, how are the objectives going for you?

If you are interested in joining hands with me and my team for help on this journey, we can walk with you to meet your objectives in your life.

Your purpose is unique from anyone who has, or ever will have, lived.

The love of Christ will compel you; you will be righteous, apart from the law.

As long as your beliefs are set in love.

Remember, change from the inside out is what transforms us. We then know what is true and right; we can experience love.

 Have a blessed, wonderful day!
